HEADACHE NEUROLOGY

• Assessment and management of primary and secondary headache disorders.

• Manage patients with the use of the latest clinical evidence and newest therapies in headache medicine (i.e. anti-CGRP monoclonal antibodies and neuromodulation devices).

• Onabotulinum A toxin (Botox) injections using the PREEMPT protocol for chronic migraine.

• Greater and lesser occipital, supraorbital, supratrochlear, auriculotemporal and zygomaticotemporal nerve blocks for various scenarios of headache management (i.e. cluster headaches, status migrainous, adjunct therapy, etc.).

GENERAL NEUROLOGY

​At this time, the primary focus of this clinic is Headache Neurology.

 

Therefore, the services offered for General Neurology are limited to the following: 

• Perform an initial assessment and provide recommendations to family physician for ongoing management.

• If necessary, refer to the respective neurology subspecialties for the most updated and patient specific care. 

• At this time, we do not perform EEG or EMG/NCS testing. If this specific testing, or any long term follow up is required, please refer to a General Neurologist within the region.
